Dream Sequence Final Statement

I had a lot of fun with this project. I loved the integration of live action and animation and I know my roommate enjoyed filming me and contributing his voice to the wizard. I never really had a concrete plan for what I was going to try and animate, it was more of if it seemed funny or entertaining to me I was gonna go that direction and see where it lead. Creating the characters in illustrator was a really fun fun process because I knew they would be moving and come to life which I had never been able to do with my doodles before. I hope to retain the basic after effects knowledge from this class because I want to bring more of my doodles to life and make other random bits of animation I think is funny or interesting. I am happy with how the final project turned out but I know there are things that can be cleaned up and more interesting backgrounds that can be added to improve the overall viewing experience. I would have also liked to have pushed myself a bit more on the animation front, I felt that I was improving with how quickly I could animate a composition and wish that I took that extra time to animate more extremities that would have made a more entertaining project. Overall though I really enjoyed learning how to move between and use different adobe software and think this project was a great for improving on those skills.
