For this project I am currently inspired by fantasy archetypes and want to be sent on an epic quest to refill the houses cabbage supplies in a cheap way before the coming weekend. My plan is to start the video with me and a roommate discovering we are all out of cabbage and thinking of ways to acquire more. After the problem is established, I want to cut to animation, with a floating wizard appearing out of nowhere to tell us about a secret cabbage patch in the sky, and how to get there. I want to have a voiceover while the quest's features are being showcased, like swimming across an alpine lake, scaling mountains and wrangling a dragon to fly over to the cabbage patch. After the quest sequence, still in animation, I want to cut to a ragged-looking roommate and I kneeling in defeat looking at a dead garden, it is winter and the cabbage is not growing. After this sequence the video will cut back to real life with me and my roommate walking through the front door defeated, ending with a hand reaching for keys and us deciding to just go to the store.
